Can you rotate the bottom half of the jack 1/4 of a turn so the foot lever is on the same side as the jack handle

Good News! You can in fact rotate the bottom portion of the Square Direct Weld Jack - Drop Leg w/ Spring Return - Sidewind - 28-3/4" Lift - 12K part # TJD-15000SP-F . To do this you will simply remove the upper plate and gear kit located below that. Once removed you can rotate the outer tube the 1/4 turn you want and reassemble the gear kit on top. I do not recommend separating the two lower portions of this jack because of the return spring it can be quite frustrating trying to get it reattached. Don't forget to load it back down with good high quality grease like LubriMatic Marine Grease in 3-3oz cartridges. part # L54FR to reduce wear and tear.
