Question:

will these still slip over mirrors with the underside lights in them? we tried a similar set but because of the underside lights in the mirror they wouldnt fit properly. sorry not sure of the exact name for those lights but they are mounted on the underside of mirror to light up where you are walking. thanks

I spoke with my contact at CIPA and she said that the Custom Towing Mirror, # CM11302, has not been tested to fit mirrors with puddle lights like on your 2008 Toyota Sequoia. She said that if the light or lens is not flush with the underside of the mirror, then it may interfere slightly with the fit of this mirror. This custom towing mirror is designed to fit the standard 6 inch tall x 9 inch long OEM mirrors.

If the lens or light does extend past the underside of your side mirror, then you may be interested in a universal fit towing mirror like the CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror, # 7070. This mirror simply clips on to the mirror housing and wraps around the back side of the mirror using rubber straps.
