I have a 2015 Honda Civic. Will I be able to open the trunk with the rack attached?

The Thule Gateway Pro 2-Bike Rack part # TH88VR is a fit for a 2015 Honda Civic so that's great news. That said, you can't open the trunk with the rack installed or any trunk mount bike rack for that matter as the trunk struts are not rated to handle the extra weight of the rack and it could come loose and cause damage to either the rack or vehicle.
If you find that you will need to get into the truck while carrying your bikes then your best option would be a hitch and hitch mounted bike rack, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11391 and the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack part # TH9058 is a good option for this.
