Question:
I am interested in the MaxxFan Deluxe, however the specs indicate a 14inch x 14inch opening. All of the MaxxFan models appear to have this same dimension. My existing opening is 14 1/4inch x 14 1/4. Is there an adaptor flange available to make up the extra 1/4inch on each side?

Expert Reply:
The 14-1/4 by 14-1/4 is the standard opening for a roof vent or vent fan, so the MaxxFan # MA00-06401K would be a great choice to replace your existing fan. The inside of the vent units usually measure 14 x 14, so everything will fit perfectly for you. We also offer roof vent installation kits, like # 344270KITB.
