Power Steering Cooler Replacement For 2000 GMC Sonoma

Question:
I have a power steering cooler leak can I cut out the metal tubing that’s bad and replace it with rubber holes ps I have a 2000 gmc Sonoma I don’t tow anything with it

You could replace the stock steering cooler in your 2000 GMC Sonoma with a Derale cooler. However, I recommend to make sure you are replacing it with one similar size to the OEM. The Derale 2-Pass Tube-Fin Power Steering Cooler - 12-5/8" Wide part # D13200 will provide to most cooling because it is 12-5/8" wide x 2-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep. I have attached the installation instructions for your reference.
