How Does Bunk Carpeting Normally Attach to Boat Bunks
Published 02/04/2020 >
Question:
I need to attach the bunk carpet to the inside wheel well cover. What type of adhesive should I use. There are only three small screws and I fear that an adhesive is needed. Please help. Carpet is Smith Deluxe that I bought from e-trailer a few weeks ago. I plan to send the finished project photos to you.

The most common way to attach bunk carpet to bunk boards is to use heavy duty staples on the underside of the bunk and then an outdoor carpet adhesive on the tops of the boards. A coworker here used Liquid Nails as an adhesive when he did his two years ago and it's holding up well.
