Maximum Speed When Using a 66 Inch Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # Y08106
Question:
What is the maximum speed for the Yakima Rack N Roll 66? I have looked at the literature and cannot find a top speed. Is it safe for highway speed around 65 mph?

The Rack and Roll trailers, like the 66 inch long model # Y08106, are rated to tow at normal highway speeds. As always, exceeding posted speed limits is not recommended, especially when towing.
You may want to consider a spare tire # Y08121 for the trailer, which includes a mounting kit to attach it to the frame. We also offer a kickstand, part # Y08115, for easier storage of the trailer. It may be a good idea to change out the factory shocks with a set of the Yakima replacement heavy duty shocks, part # Y08110, if you plan on towing loads on the heavier end of the trailer weight capacity.
