Can I use 2 kits to make the assist that much better

Per the instructions manual for the DeeZee Tailgate Assist Custom Tailgate-Lowering System for Pickup Trucks # DZ43205, this tailgate assist can only be installed on the driver's side of the tailgate so there wouldn't be a way to install 2 of them on the same tailgate. It also would cause the tailgate to float and not perform as it should.
