Question:

I see that both EcoHitches for a 2019 Golf R would require trimming the fascia. Exactly where and how much needs to be removed? How visible will the hole or notch be after the hitch is installed? Need for a 2 bike rack.

To install the EcoHitch # 306-X7333 or # 306-X7332 on a 2019 VW Golf R, a notch measuring 3 x 3-1/4 inches would need to be made in the underside of the bumper fascia. For both hitches, the notch isn't noticeable from the rear, only if you're looking up at the underside of the bumper.

If I had to personally choose between the two, I'd go with the EcoHitch # 306-X7332 with the 2 inch receiver because the 2 inch receiver size is more common, so there will be more hitch mounted accessories available for it and because EcoHitch manufactures their hitches in the USA.
