Which roof rack and board carrier is recommended for my 2020 Toyota 4Runner? I don't mind spending some money if the product quality is good and it lasts several years.

I really like Rhino Rack's roof rack products. They might not have the name recognition that Thule or Yakima have but they make a high quality product at a decent price. Why spend more if you don't have to? I'd recommend the finished look of the Rhino Rack Vortex StealthBar roof rack, part # JA7970 for black or # JA7951 for silver.These bars have a clean, OEM look.
For a surf/paddleboard carrier, I'd recommend the # INXA445 from Inno. This system will allow you to carry 2 long surfboards or SUP's or 3 short surfboards.
