Will Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit Easily Replace Dometic Kit on RV
Published 01/02/2020 >
Question:
Hello, Im looking at converting my manual awning to electric. My current awning doesnt have the metal pieces that have to be bolted to the side of the trailer like this one. Im just worried that there may not be studs vertically where these need to align. Any ideas? It is a Dometic awning and I believe this Solera will retro fit.

If you have a Dometic setup on your RV currently then the Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC434724 you are interested in will fit and work well as a replacement. This was designed to easily replace Dometic setups like yours. While your awning seemingly doesn't attach to any bracing there is bracing behind it where this will attach easily.
I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
