The bag that is inside the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier, # M2200-01-02, is weather-resistant but is not considered water proof. For something to be considered water proof it has to be submerged under water for a certain period of time and the inside and contents must stay dry. For general rainy conditions the bag will do well to help keep items inside dry but we still recommend placing items that cannot get wet in plastic bags.
