Parts Needed for Converting Electric Awning of 2018 Thor RV to Smart Awning

Question:

I have a 2018 Thor RV with a electric awning, my question is can I upgrade mine with components to make it a smart arm without having to buy a new awning. It appears to me that both arms are exactly alike.

We do have kits that are designed to convert a standard RV awning to a smart awning but they include new arms and heads since that's the easiest and best way to make the change. We have 69 inch and 63 inch options available in black and white. In the 69 inch arm length we have the black # LC759517 or white # LC759405. For 63 inch we have the part # LC759516 for black or # LC759404.

You wouldn't have to buy new awning fabric though as you can reuse what you have now with any of the mentioned kits.
