Can Performance Tune on Superchips Flashpaq Be Used for Everyday Driving

Question:

I bought a superchip flashpaq handheld tuner and I was wanting to know if you have it on the performance tune is it a good idea to do normal everyday driving. I dont really care about fuel mileage but will it hurt my engine

I reached out to my contact at Superchips and he said you can absolutely use the performance tune for everyday driving with your tuner like the Flashpaq # SU1845 you were looking at. This won't have any negative effects on the engine. This particular tune is going to provide the biggest increases in horse power and torque, so you are just going to notice more aggressive handling.

My contact said that a lot of people will use the Towing mode as their default tune (especially if they tow from time to time). This provides good increases in horse power and torque while not being quite as aggressive for everyday driving. I know you said you didn't care too much about gas mileage but the Towing mode will be better in this regard too (when compared to Performance).
