Could Bed Extender Interfere with Install of BakFlip MX4 on 2019 Honda Ridgeline

Question:

I have a Backflip MX4 on my Nissan Frontier and love it. So much so thay I would like to put one on my 2019 Honda Ridgeline, but I am wondering if the Bakflip MX4 will close properly over a stored bed extender? In addition, I understand that the trunk bed cannot open all the way with the MX4, but can you tell me about how far the trunk can open? Thank you,

The BakFlip MX4 part # BAK48602 that you referenced is the correct part number for your 2019 Honda Ridgeline. It's hard to say for certain if your bed extender would be an issue as there are several different types and depending on the design it could prevent the cover from shutting all the way or might not at all. If the extender does not have any portion of it that goes above two inches below the top of the tailgate then it would not interfere at all. If there is a portion that goes above it though it would be an issue.

Your trunk would open up almost all they way but would stop at the top of the bed rails since the cover rails would prevent it from going beyond that point.
