Will the Thule 45jv Outway 2 bike rack fit easily on a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 4 dr sedan? Is there any extra assembly needed to make it fit?

The Thule OutWay, # TH45JV is indeed compatible with your Hyundai Genesis 4 door sedan. The 2 retractable cables make the OutWay our easiest to install bike rack, and also our most popular. The Thule FitDial system allows the rack to adjust exactly to the contours of your Genesis.

There are no other parts necessary, with the possible exception of a bike frame adapter tube like part # 64005, which might be needed for some bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames (like women's and girls bikes). The adapter spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, and allows the bike to be carried so that it is level, providing optimal ground clearance.
