What Size Thread Tap Would be Needed for Hitch Install Weld Nuts of 2008 Chevy Equinox

Vertical bolts 4 require a M -12 tap how about the other bolts. They are different sizes.

The bolt sizes that come with the Draw Tite hitch # 36408 which fits your 2008 Chevy Equinox is M12 for the vertical brackets that attach to the outside of the frame. It's not uncommon to need to tap out rusty weld nuts on vehicles with a few years on them. You'd just need to source an M12 tap and you'd be set.
