Question:

Looking to upgrade my pin box on a 2019 reflection 311bhs, I’m currently in an 03 dodge 2500 short bed with a demco auto slider. What pin box would work best for me looking at 5th airborne 16k. Thanks

The Reese Fifth Airborne replacement pin box # RP78FR would work well for you. The air bag and shock absorber do a very good job of keeping the bouncing and shock from the fifth wheel from being transferred to the tow vehicle.

The Lippert Flex Air, part # LC328492 takes it a step further by using a cushioned pivoting head that further resists the chucking (front to back motion) caused by acceleration and braking, for superior ride quality.

If you were to decide on the Trail Air model, you'll need some replacement capture plates, part # DM6171.
