Question:

I like the Yakima Jetstream bars but would like to get a SkyBox 18 if it isnt too long. The car rails are 46 inches wide center to center - looking for minimum overhang by the crossbars. What would you recommend - I am lopen to othwr brands but klike the kyBox lockinfg mechanism. Would a 50 inch bar work or do I need to go b bigger? Not sure how much space the feet would take - might be too close to the end of the 50 inch bars? Also looking for a quiet ride who isnt Thanks

The Yakima Jetstream roof rack part numbers # Y00426 and # Y33TR is a confirmed fit for your 2019 Volkswagen Atlas with factory raised rails.

Yakima has their SkyBox 18 cargo box # Y07336 as a fit for this rack too like are interested in. They even have their larger 21 SkyBox part # Y07337 as a fit too so the smaller 18 Skybox would fit well!
