Which trailer hitch would you recommend to install on a 2017 For Fusion Platinum to put a bicycle rack to haul 3 bicycles

If you're planning on using a bike rack you already own that's only compatible with a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver, the EcoHitch # 306-X7239 you'd looked at would be an excellent choice (unless your Fusion is a Sport model). The thing that sets the EcoHitch model apart is the fact that the hitch crossbar will be concealed behind the rear bumper, and it's the only hitch available for your Fusion that uses the 2 inch receiver opening.
However, if your bike rack can use a 1-1/4 inch receiver, there's really no need to pay the premium price of the EcoHitch, as we have a couple of Class II hitches that will allow you to carry 3 bikes using a hitch that's just as concealed as the EcoHitch. If your Fusion is a Sport Model, use # C12164. If it's not, use # C12091. If you click the provided link, you can see an installation video for the # C12091.
If you don't already have a bike rack in mind, the Swagman Trailhead # S63365 would be a fine choice. The rack is priced at an affordable price point, yet still includes such essentials as anti-sway cradles that use sturdy rubber straps to securely hold your bikes. The rack can also tilt rearward away from the back of the vehicle once the bikes are removed for easy trunk access. The rack includes an anti-rattle hitch pin, but I'd also recommend the hitch/cable lock combo, part # S64031.
