Are you able to look up trailer parts by VIN?

Hello Johnny, thanks for reaching out. Sadly, no we are not able to look up trailer parts using a VIN. There just isn't a universal VIN database for trailers like there is for motor vehicles. Typically only the manufacturer of the trailer would be able to look up a VIN, and that can be hit or miss.

That said, I can definitely still help you find parts and get you going in the right direction.

Like for example if you are needing new brakes, we can determine what you need by looking at the axle capacity, or by using the casting number on your hub.

Is there something specific you were looking for? Let me know and I am happy to help. I can let you know the best way to track down the right parts.

I understand. My customer only gave me only so much info on it. 2005 Load Max TRA/REM Gooseneck Trailer. Twin axle@ 11,000lbs per axle. 22,000lbs total. They are needing axle #2 brake shoes, drums with bearings and seals. They also need 8 tires. 235/80R16.

@JohnnyL The tires we do have and for that I recommend the Provider HD ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G # PRG80235. For the brakes and hubs, the best way to determine exactly what you need will be with the casting number from the drum. Brake drums will have a number cast right on the front. In most cases I can use that to find the brake, drum and bearing info. These higher capacity axles can be a bit tricky. If they can spot the axle sticker, that may help narrow things down too.
