Question:

my new cargo trailer has 15mag wheels. 1/2inch STUDS coned What would be a proper torque in foot pounds? Thanks

Expert Reply:

The recommended torque spec for 1/2 inch coned lug nuts, like # 12CLN is 90-100 ft-lbs when used in conjunction with a 15 inch aluminum wheel, such as # AM22653.

If you don't already have one, I recommend using a torque wrench # ALL944001 to accurately measure the amount of pressure being applied and prevent under tightening or overtightening your lug nuts.
