Question:

I have a 2020 Jeep Gladiator - with 35 inch tires Im concerned about the height of the vehicle /hitch what is the idea height to the top of the ball if Im pulling the Yakima Easy Rider I saw on dimension that said the dimension was 17 inch to top of coupler - please advise - thanks for your help

From the ground to the bottom of the coupler for the Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer # Y08129 it measures 16". To ensure that you tow the trailer level you just need to measure from the ground to the top of the inside of the receiver on your 2020 Jeep Gladiator and then choose a ball mount that has the correct rise/drop that matches up to the EasyRider. I have attached a link to a helpful article about choosing a ball mount that you can reference.

I tried to find what the height of the receiver is for your 2020 Gladiator but I wasn't able to find anything online. With that being said, we do have ball mounts with adjustable height like the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10047B which not only offers a 3-1/2" rise/3" drop, but it also comes with 3 different sized hitch balls so that you have a wider variety of applications you can use it for. I do recommend using a locking hitch pin like part # C23025 to help deter theft of this ball mount.
