Difference in Width Between the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailers, Frame Width and Overall Width

Question:

What is the frame width dimensions side rail to side rail of the Yakima Rack and Roll 66inch wide versus the 78? I believe those dimensions just mentioned refer to the crossbar, not the frame. Etrailer has a QandA on this question whereby it states that their is a frame dimension difference but no actual measurements of the two models. Please provide the frame dimensions for the Y08106 versus the Y08107. Thank you,

The frame width of the 66 version of the Rack and roll is 54 inches wide and the frame width of the 78 is 66 inches wide.

The overall width of each of the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailers are the exact same width as the length of the crossbars on the trailer. The 66 inch # Y08106 is overall 66 inches long and the 78 part # Y08107 is overall 78 inches wide. What that means is that the frame of the 78 inch model is 8 inches wider than the frame of the 66 inch wide model.
