Do the Timbren Suspension Systems Require Adjustments
Published 04/19/2012 >
Question:
So, it seems to me that you would connect your trailer and then adjust these to get the truck level correct? Then when you disconnected the trailer would you not have to bleed them back down some? Please corect me if Im wrong but It almost seems that the extra pressure added to them to level the truck wouldnt be needed in an unloaded vehicle and thus would interfere with normal driving and/ or ride height. How would that work?

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFRR050A that you referenced does not require management of any type of pressure. These are rubber springs that replace your current overload springs too help support additional weight that your vehicle will have when carrying a load.
What is nice about this system is that it requires no adjustment. Also, this product does not affect the unloaded ride quality of your vehicle either. When you are not carrying a load your suspension will feel the same as stock, but once you have a load on your truck and the suspension compresses far enough these will provide additional support.
You might be thinking of a air bag suspension system. This system is much easier to install than air springs - no air hoses are needed to be run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments necessary.
I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
