Optronics LED RVILL34 Dome Lights Too Bright

Question:
I recently purchased a 2018 Northwoods NASH 26N travel trailer equiped with 7 of these light fixtures. While my wife and I find these are good for over the kitchen and bath areas, we find them way too bright for over the dinette, couch and bed areas. Does Optronics offer either 1 non-clear replacement lenses, or 2 less bright bulbs for this model? If not, do you offer a soft whiteinch replacement fixture? Also, we find the lenses of these rvill34s to be extremely difficult to remove. Its like they were designed to cover the front door knob of Ft. Knox?? But were spoiled - we still have a 2005 Arctic Fox truck camper, and several years ago when I replaced the incandescent bulbs with soft white LEDs, I removed the milk white lenses with only a soft squeeze and simply twisted the bulbs out and in. Hard to see how the new fixtures are an improvement??

Unfortunately, Optronics doesn't offer replacement lenses or bulbs for this model. The diodes aren't replaceable, so if they should ever burn out, the lamp itself would need to be replaced.
Although we don't offer a similar LED lamp that would be less bright than what you already have (most would be brighter), an incandescent lamp like # RVIL22 could be a good choice for areas where you're wanting lighting that isn't so bright. As you can see in the video I've linked for you, you can see that the light emitted is warmer and not as bright as what the LED's provide.
The lenses in these kind of lamps can be a bit of a challenge to remove, if pinching in on both sides at the same time doesn't work, a plastic putty knife can be used to pry one side free at a time without fear of scratching the lens.
