Furion 5 Vision S Camera and Monitor Not Pairing

Updated 10/29/2019 | Published 10/28/2019

Question:

I recently bought a 37foot Cedar Creek 5th Wheel camper. It came with a Furion 5 S Camera. I attempt to pair the camera with the monitor, but get a failed message. I think the distance is to far to receive a signal. Can you suggest a booster antenna for this system

There could be a couple of things going on here, but the Furrion Vision S Wireless Camera System has pretty good reception and shouldn't be any connection issues within 100m / 300ft (system actually has a wireless range of up to 150m / 450ft). I would first start by making sure that the camera is receiving power- the red LED light on the camera should be on to give this indication. Once the camera is powered on, you'll want to hold down the camera pairing button on the bottom of the camera for 2 seconds- check the linked photo for the location. I would also make sure that all of the electrical appliances inside the 5th wheel are turned off when you're trying to do this since electrical signals can interfere with this process.

If you're still not able to pair the system after running through these steps, let me know and I can recommend a couple of other things for you to check out that will help get you up and running.
