Can Bearing Buddies Be Used on Travel Trailers
Published 04/12/2012 >
Question:
will these work on a travel trailer?

Expert Reply:
Although primarily designed for use in marine applications, using Bearing Buddies on your travel trailer would work just fine for you, and would provide the benefit of protecting your wheel bearings by excluding dirt and moisture.
Due to the Zerk fitting, adding grease when needed will be easy, and you can check the fill level at a glance, both of which will extend the life of the bearings.
Keep in mind that Ez-Lube spindles are not compatible with Bearing Buddies.
You will want to choose the Bearing Buddy model whose outside diameter matches the bore of your hub. Next time you repack your wheel bearings, installing a double lip grease seal (if you do not already have one) would be a good idea to prevent blowout.
