Question:

I lost the part that secures the 9029 bike rack to the trailer hitch so I think I just need the bolt that holds rack to hitch M12 in the manual with M12 flat washer and lock washer. Can I just purchase those? The only thing I saw was the set up with the big lock which I dont think I need.

The replacement parts you asked about for your (discontinued) Thule Vertex Bike Rack 9029 are part # 908-1240-54 for the M12 Bolt, part # 951-1224-54 for the Washer, and part # 956122159 for the Lock Washer.

The Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2 would work as well but if you don't want/need the lock you can use the parts mentioned above instead.
