Would you recommend this electric winch for a 18 foot Stingray boat that is used mainly in saltwater and stored outside?

The Dutton-Lainson TW4000 StrongArm Electric Winch # DL25200 is the one I recommend for your application. It has a strong, high-impact and weather-resistant case to protect it from the elements. It also includes a brushed stainless steel front plate for superior rust resistance and uses a polyester strap instead of a galvanized steel cable, which will stand up much better to salt water over time. StrongArm trailer winches come with a 2-year limited warranty and are manufactured specifically for marine use right here in the USA.

Since you'll be storing the boat outside, I definitely recommend also using Winch Cover # DL24051 to protect it from the elements.
