Today we are going to review part number DL24051. This is the Dutton Lainson winch cover. Now this cover is a water resistant black vinyl cover which will fit on Dutton Lainson strong arm electric winch. It is specially treated for cold weather use. This cover will protect your winch from the elements and it keeps the wench clean, dry, and looking new. If you will notice on the one end here, it does have a vertical slit and that's where your cable to come through.
Does have the nylon drawstring for quick closure. Makes the cover easy on and off. This part is made in the U.S.A. Again, this will fit any strong arm electric wench by Dutton Lainson. Just to give you an idea of the size of this, it is a form fit as you can see. The length on this is right at about 10 inches long.
The width of it when it's extended out is about 8 inches wide and the height on it is about 8 inches tall. That should do it for the review on part number DL24051. This is the Dutton Lainson winch cover. .

The cover does the job, but I would not keep it on while I'm travailing. I think it will come off. It needs additional tie downs.

Received My Strongarm winch cover, which is being used to cover a RC23 Powerwinch because Powerwinch doesnt make their own cover, and its a perfect fit!!

I'm very happy with this winch cover so far. While I've only had it for a short time, it fits and cinches up well. I live in SE Florida and it's been raining quite a bit (which is normal). My winch has stayed dry thus far and the cover has held up. It's performing in the manner that I expected it to and that's all that I can ask.
This cover arrived extremely fast, its well made, fits exactly right and perfect for keeping our winch dry.

A little lightweight in the material type but I was happy to be able to find this cover for my Dutton-Lainson winch that was made a long, long time ago. I do wish it was slightly bigger (or maybe had a pocket) so that the controller and power cord both fit under the cover. Keeps the dust off just fine.
Actually purchased this product to cover a Powerwinch Model 912. Powerwinch does not sell covers for their products. It fit like a glove, should do a nice job.
Product keeps weather and dust at bay but I had to reorder when it blew away on a towing trip. It would have been nice to have warned that it would not stay on during an interstate highway tow, i.e. speeds in excess of 50mph. I believe it is possible to secure it with bungie or other cords.

Fits as described! This was a great find to protect the winch from the elements. We had a hard time finding a cover for a Western Mule Telescoping Crane.
The only problem I had with the winch is I found out the hard way that if you don't have a minimum of 12 volts the winch doesn't work. I found that problem, corrected it and now the winch works perfectly. Thank You

Don't tow an empty trailer with it on though. It will fly away :-)
The winch cover fits perfect and provides an extra layer of protection because the boat is stored outside.

I bought this for my power winch 921. It fit great. Totally pleased.
Nice cover fits well I believe it will not blow off in the fall winds.
if it were up to me the draw string would be a bit longer.
