Can the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock for a 1999 Toyota Tacoma Be Re-Keyed to Ignition

The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock part # PAL5100 will not use the same key as the door locks or ignition but it does come with its own set to use. I am also not aware of a tailgate lock for a 1999 Toyota Tacoma that has this feature so you are best off just using the above. If you have electric door locks, you can use the Pace Edwards PowerGate Electric Tailgate Lock part # 311-LK400 and operate the tailgate lock with your door lock.

The above are the only two options we have for a tailgate lock on a 1999 Toyota Tacoma.
