Question:
I currently have a bolt on pintle ball hitch. I am trying to lower the ball. Is there a pintle ball hitch? Or can I get a bolt on receiver tube 2inch or 2.5 that has the same bolt spacing as my pintle ball hitch? Then I could use a standard hitch. I need about 4 inches of drop. It is mounted to a hitch plate on the back of a 2015 Ford F550

I do have an option for you but there is not a receiver hitch available that will bolt into the same bolt hole spacing as the pintle ball hitch. I recommend to add Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V Commercial Duty 2-1/2" receiver part # C15845 to the 2015 Ford F550. The Curt hitch will give you 20,000 lbs gross towing weight and then you can use Curt Adjustable 2-Ball Mount part # C45902 that comes with a 2" or 2-5/6" ball. You can also use the Curt Pintle Hook with 2-5/16" Hitch Ball part # C45922 if you want.
