Question:
Do these work on boat trailers being submersed in water
asked by: Joe
Expert Reply:
The TireMinder Smart TPMS like part # TPMS-APP-6 are waterproof but TireMinder does not recommend the transmitter box be submerged more than 30 minutes so as long as you are mindful of that you shouldn't have any issues launching your boat with the sensors installed.
I recommend part # TPMS-APP-6 if you need 6 sensors or part # TPMS-APP-4 if you need 4. This particular system sends updates to your smart phone via an app so it is much more convenient then having a display screen in my opinion.
