Can You Upgrade the Front Sway Bar On a 1996 Tiffin Allegro Motorhome

Updated 10/05/2019 | Published 10/04/2019

Question:

Is there an improved Front swaybar for my 96 Tiffin Allegro bay on a f53 17,000 lb gvwr. Also a rear Trac bar? I have a Davis true Trac in front. And I just purchased a rear swaybar.

The Roadmaster Polyurethane Bushing Kit for Factory Front Anti-Sway Bars part # RM-4139-127 will fit your 1996 Tiffin Allegro Motorhome on a Ford F-53 Chassis and like an upgraded front sway bar will work to improve stability. Although they do not offer an actual upgraded front sway bar for your motorhome, the bushing kit is the next best thing as it will really tighten up the what I assume are very worn out factory bushings. These new bushings are made of polyurethane which are much stiffer and durable than the factory bushing not to mention last longer.

Unfortunately, they do not offer a front axle track bar for your motorhome but if you wanted to take the suspension one step further you could add the SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-185-40-1 for rear and part # SSF-172-40-2 for front which are arguably one of the most popular upgrades for a motrohome as they work really well and you can also fell the difference.
