Replacement Linkage for 32 Series Kwikee Steps on 2003 Fleetwood
Updated 10/01/2019 | Published 09/29/2019 >
Question:
I have a 2003 Fleetwood Excursion with Kwickee Series 32 steps. The bracket that opens/closes the steps has broken. What do I need without over replacing good parts. Thank you.

It sounds like you are needing the replacement linkage for the Kwikee 32 Series Step Assembly on your Fleetwood Excursion. I reached out to my contact at Lippert and he said due to the age of your particular model you will need to use the Upgrade Kit # LC379145.
The original linkage arm by itself is no longer available for your 32 Series Step Assembly, so this full kit (which includes the linkage along with a new motor, control box, and hardware) is needed to upgrade it to the current version that makes it compatible with the new linkage. I know this isn't the best news as you were hoping not to replace working components but this is the only way to replace the broken linkage arm.
I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
