Is Stabilizer Strap Still Needed When Carrying Bike Rack with Curt Trailer Hitch
Published 09/27/2019 >
Question:
Where should I attach the strap on my 2014 impala? I just got the hitch cause I didn’t want anything to touch the car but I think if I hook the strap under the trunk part where the button is it may work. Going over the trunk to the back in the seam where it closes is not ideal cause it’s touching the paint and would easily scratch

Actually I have really great news...Curt no longer requires the use of a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack with any of their hitches including the Curt # C12115 that you installed on your 2014 Chevy Impala. So you don't have to worry about it at all!
