Yes, the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C60712-5W will fit a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with a 6-1/2 foot bed as this is exactly the same as the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit # C60712, but with a different part number.
Having said that, the Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550045-5W may not be compatible with your truck and trailer because it is not a sliding hitch and cannot be used with a rotating pin box like a Sidewinder. This means using this combination without a trailer that has a tapered nose could result in your trailer crashing into the back of Silverado.
Due to that I recommend installing standard fifth wheel rails # C16418-204 and the Curt A20 5th Wheel Hitch # C16541 because of its interlocking dual jaw system that wraps totally around your king pin, which means a more comfortable ride when you are towing.
I have added links to an install of these rails on an '05 Silverado as well as a link to a video review of the A20 for you to check out.
