Roof Rack for 2018 Subaru Outback and Crosstrek to Install Thule Hullavator

Question:

What do I need to install the Hullavator kayak load assist rack onto both a 2018 Subaru Outback and Crosstrek. I would like to interchange the system between both cars. Both cars just have the factory installed falls.

The Thule Hullavator # TH898 can install on both your 2018 Subaru Outback and Crosstrek but not directly to the factory roof rack so you'll need a roof rack for both vehicles. The Hullavator needs a set of crossbars that stick out past the feet of the rack several inches. Unfortunately the roof rack components needed for both vehicles are totally different so you will have to go with all different racks for both.

So for the Outback you'd want the # TH711200, # TH460R, and # THKIT4063 for an aero bar roof rack that fits the Hullavator as well. Then for the Crosstrek you'd want the # TH711400 and # TH710401.
