Biker Bar Installation and Use with Lowered 2014 HD Ultra Classic

Question:
I received the Biker Bar and am in the process of setup for install. I have installed Progressive 944 lowering 1inch rear shocks and am at the low end of the 5inch height limit. Im having to modify the loading ramp for my wolf pup toy hauler to get the bike into the trailer. My measurements tell me it will be close..if needed can I add a sheet of plywood under the tires increase the distance from the bike frame and the stationary/bolted to the floor part of the biker bar?

Because the B&W Biker Bar # BWMC2301 is height adjustable, it provides you with the ability to move the bar up or down in 1/4" increments. It looks like the lowest setting is 3-3/4" and the highest setting is 6-1/2" inches-so if your bike has 5" of clearance you should be able to adjust the biker bar to fit. If your bike is still sitting too low, you could use small plywood sheets under the wheels to raise it up a bit, but you would need to make sure that those plywood sheets are secured to the floor so that they do not slip and in turn wrench the frame of the bike.
If your bike is slightly too tall for the biker bar, you can install a sheet of plywood under the Biker Bar during install to create a small lift-this installation technique is recommended for use with diamond plate floors that are sometimes found in trailers.
