The galley valve came unscrewed and was lost. What size are the threads ?? The shaft that is still there looks like a. 1\4 inch diameter

The Valterra Waste Valve Extension Tube with Handle # TX9HPB features a 1/4" thread. This is a pretty universal size so most likely it will fit your existing shaft. This particular unit measures 9 inches long.
