Best Replacement Water Heater for a GC10A-4E

Question:
I have an original Attwood GC10A-4E in my 2007 coach. Is there a direct same size replacement since it seems this one is discontinued. Gas works, started making strange noise and electric quit. Have to remove to get to element so I may try replacing it. Thanks

Yes, there is! The best replacement for your GC10A-4E water heater is the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater item # FR68SR. This tankless water heater is more efficient than your tank style water heater. It includes an 18"x18" door to fully cover your 16"x16" opening you have on your current water heater.
I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get it set up. What kind of coach do you have?

Thanks for the reply, I saw that unit and may decide to go that route. I like having both an electric and a gas option for hot water, when the electric side went out we just finished our trip with gas so no downtime. Would the dometic gas/electric be an option? My unit is a a 2007 Thor Mandalay 40G, and has the access door painted to match. The access has an aluminum frame so dimensions are pretty much fixed. Thanks much, Stan
