Question:

Guys- You previously carried the Cool Tech wiring harness JL18CTTOWHJL Tow Harness Kit - JL Tow Harness Kit : Deluxe for the 2018 Jeep JL Unlimited. I see all references are now gone- and I have already installed that wiring kit. Was working on installing the Invisibrake system- and wanted to confirm where best place to tie into signal wiring would be, or if that is even needed since the wiring harness is controlling the lights... If RM had a diagram showing function of that connection, I could likely figure it out- but Im not certain why they are monitoring the signal lights... Thanks for any help! Thanks Jameson on assistance with question about need for brake controller in RV side!!

I attached a diagram that shows how the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 wires to a vehicle's taillight circuits and also an install video we shot that shows this kit installed on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited just like yours which I think will be the most helpful. The system taps into the signal lights of the tow bar lighting so that it can tell when you are applying the brakes in your tow vehicle which lets the system know it needs to start slowing the towed vehicle down.
