Trailer Jacks That Can be Welded to Sides of Trailer For Increased Stability

Question:

I want to purchase 2 trailer jacks that will weld to the rear sides of my trailer I plan to haul a jeep / 4x4 truck with. I want something that I can get welded to the frame and flip up when not in use. I am worried that the hitch could pop off the ball of the truck hitch and want some insurance that this does not happen. Will this product work for me or do you have something else that will work for this application? We have close to exactly what you need, although a direct-weld jack such as the Square Direct Weld Jack # TJD-5000 you referenced will not be able to flip up, it will need to remain vertical where it is welded. If you are okay with that then a pair of these jacks will work great for stability so the front of your trailer doesn't pop up and the hitch ball become detached (assuming you do not exceed the 10,000 lb support capacity a pair of these jacks will give you).

If you do need something that flips up then the only option are stabilizer jacks and the ones with the highest capacity are the 1,000 lb Stallion Stabilizer Jacks # 288-01892-2 (that capacity is 1,000 lbs per pair of jacks) which may not be enough for your needs.
