Question:
I need to remove my AF 1 from my 2014 Grand Cherokee and return the car’s breaking system back to stock before trading it in a new tow vehicle. What do I need to do to take it back to stock?

Removing the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99243 requires removing all of the installed components so that you can reinstall them. You'll need to disconnect the Operating Unit, the Male L brackets, Breakaway Switch, actuator cylinder, monitor light and cylinder switch; basically the same installation process in reverse. You'll also need to remove the T from the vacuum hose and either replace the vacuum hose in the tow vehicle or replace the T with a new section of hose.
When you're ready to install the kit on your new tow vehicle, you'll want to use the Reinstall Kit # SM99226 , which contains all of the connection hardware you'll need to reinstall the Air Force One on your new vehicle.
