What hardware does this come with? And does it come with the installation kit featured in your video or if not which one would you recommend buying to go along with this product?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12291 which is a fit for your 2014 GMC Terrain comes with all the hardware and components needed for installation save for tools. This includes the fishwire tool, hex bolts, washers, carriage bolts, spacer blocks, and flange nuts. The only components that were mentioned in the video but not included in the kit are lubricant and a wire brush like part # 814092 but these are not required.
If you will be towing a trailer then you might also want a trailer wiring harness part # 56094 and a ball mount/hitch ball part # 989900.
