We have a 2019 Roadtrek with a fantastic fan. The lid of the van does rattle a bit depending on wind direction while driving Will the vent cover reduce this? Also, I could only find the tag model 1300 which size should I order?

Aside from protecting your vent from the natural elements, the aerodynamic design keeps the wind up and over the vent so you can leave your vent open even while driving your Roadtrek on the highway.

I wasn't able to find any specific information on a model 1300 but have confirmed with the manufacturer that this cover fits over all Fan-Tastic Vent trailer roof vents as well as many other standard and high-powered roof vents that require a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening in the roof.

All of the Fan-Tastic Vent Covers are the same size (23" x 19.5" x 10.25") but what differentiates them is the type of hardware that is included for installation. DMC38FR does include all necessary hardware.

As long as your existing vent is screwed onto your roof, you will not need to drill holes to install this cover. Just use the existing screws on each side of your vent and some silicone sealant like # 0160297 to attach the 4 mounting brackets.
