Question:

I have a 2019 Toyota Highlander, will this Saris Bones 2 fit and work well? The video for this carrier showed a vehicle without a spoiler but my Highlander does have one, so Im concerned about that. Im also considering the Hollywood HRF2 rack, but it seems heavier and frankly more complicated than what I need. I only have 1 bike to transport and it will only be an occasional thing. Are there any additional parts or straps I need to purchase for the Saris? Whats your recommendation? Thanks!

The Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier # SA805BL is designed to fit most spoilers thanks to its arched shape so it will work great with your 2019 Toyota Highlander with a spoiler. We've received plenty of positive feedback from previous customers that have used the Saris Bones on their vehicles with factory spoilers.

Between the Saris Bones 2 # SA805BL and the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top # HRF2, the Saris Bones is certainly a more lightweight and user friendly option. # SA805BL is made out of injection molded plastic and corrosion resistant aluminum and comes in at just under 10 lbs whereas the # HRF2 is made out of powder coated steel so it comes in at around 25 lbs.
