Question:
Can I replace a 6-12 tire with a 5.30-12 tire using the same rim?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I have never heard of a 6.00-12 tire but theoretically yes, you can use the same 12" rim for a 5.30-12 size tire like part # AM10066 as the last set of numbers refers to the wheel size that the tire fits. You do need to make sure that your tire is compatible with the width of the wheel as well (which you can find stamped on the inward-facing side of the wheel). For example, the Kenda tire mentioned above fits a 12" rim that is 4" wide like part # AM20132.
