I checked with Rhino Rack and they said that the Rhino-Rack Backbone Mounting System for Pioneer Platform Rack part # RRRR1B1 is going to add between 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 inches to the height of your vehicle depending on where you measure. The outer portion of the rail is taller than the center to account for the typical shape of the truck roof.
